Learning more Web 2.0 tools this summer is a great way to give my students new technology skills. I am taking a class at Millersville about Internet for educators and I will include some of the new tools and tips that I learned.
Using Google Tools:
Scholar: a great search for educational type material
News: good search for topics in the news
Bing: great for finding images
Twittering:
Limited to 140 characters, great for quick updates, conferences, field trip news
Delicious:
A good bookmark site that travels with you.
Jing: allows you to capture video and voice
